Tips and Recommendations
- Impact therapy of a minimum of 20 sessions (3 times a week) over the course of a 6 week period in order to ”kick start“ the metabolism into action. Results are generally already visible after 10 applications (although in some cases weight and centimetre loss may not occur immediately, skin appears to be smoother).
- Exercise takes only 30 minutes, but this is sufficient. Under normal circumstances fat is burned in muscles only after 20-30 minutes of exercise. In the VacuShape this time is decreased by one third.
- Thanks to the study undertaken by Doctor Hostýn (who clinically tested the VacuShape at the Clinic of Sports Medicine in Bratislava, Slovakia) a 10 minute warm-up of the body is recommended before entering the VacuShape (i.e. using an exercise bike, treadmill, BodyRoll, solarium, etc.). A client then makes maximum use of his/her time in the VacuShape and fat burning starts from the very first minute. In the case of a “cold” start this process of fat burning doesn’t actually begin until about the 6th – 10th minute.
- Whilst exercising in the VacuShape strictly adhere to the optimum heart rate (OHR), because at this pulse rate the body’s energy requirements are 80% covered by fats and only 20 % by sugars, which is important for maximum results. The formula for calculating OHR = 0.65 x (220 – client’s age)
- From our own experience we can recommend using programmes with the alternating vacuum (P2 and P3) for maximum results. The programme with the strongest vacuum (P1) is rarely used. Upon frequent use of the VacuShape small veins may become visible under the skin. These should disappear shortly after exercising in the VacuShape. Programmes with a constant vacuum are not as efficient as the programmes with the alternating vacuum.
- Before exercising in the VacuShape eat carbohydrates (rice, potatoes, pasta or muesli). After exercising eat proteins (fish, meat, poultry or tofu, for example, with vegetables).
- Adhere to a regular drinking regime – approximately 3-4 litres of liquid a day.
- It is not necessary to start a diet. If a client follows the above mentioned recommendations, his/her body will have sufficient energy reserves and the fat burning will then become more efficient.
- After exercising in the VacuShape we do not recommend clients visit solariums, saunas or practise any kinds of sports which are demanding on the legs.
- Client should wear loose track suit pants or shorts inside the VacuShape and light sports shoes with a smooth sole.
- For maximum effect apply a cellulite cream before entering the VacuShape. You may also use L-Carnitine food supplements (tablets or syrup) for boosting fat burning.
- Always follow the instructions of trained personnel.
